Jazz Bazaar was formed in October 2007 bringing together five musicians of various backgrounds and ages.
On keyboard is Rory Duncan a 27 year old music teacher. Rory currently lives in Ipswich, Suffolk, but will be moving sometime in the future to Essex where most of his piano teaching is located.
Drummer Alan Thornton also plays drums for the Swing Street Big Band. He has vast experience of playing with all manner of big and small jazz bands and is a great asset to Jazz Bazaar. Welcome to the band Alan
Jack Patching, is a music student and budding bassist, who is certain to become a great bassist in the future. He lives just outside Ipswich and attends musical college in Colchester.
Paul Goss on Tenor Saxophone is retired and lives in Stowmarket, Suffolk. Paul used to teach biology and has taught in Germany, Malta and Africa.
Chris Randall plays mostly Alto Saxophone, but also picks up his Tenor, Soprano or Clarinet as the mood takes him, or as the part requires.
Laura Quinn, our resident vocalist, also sings with the Swing Street Bigband on occasion and play saxophone, (when she isn't playing hockey).
